Alpha Micro Components has developed a 'drop-in alternative' to
the V.34 socket modems from MultiTech Systems and Telecom Design.
It boasts precisely the same functionality as Alpha Micro's existing
AMC336XL, but in a footprint measuring only 60mm x 23mm.
The AMC336SKT is ideally suited to a broad spectrum of applications,
and 'Quick Connect' algorithms make it particularly suited to banking
and POS environments where short call duration is critical. It has
been developed in direct response to market requirements.
