Low cost custom LCDs affordable in 2000-off quantities Once the prerogative of very
high volume applications, custom colour LCDs are now an affordable
option in low to medium volumes, enabling designers to differentiate
their products with an attractive, unique interface and achieve
a real competitive edge. Until now Reflective or Yellow/Green or Grey LCDs have been the only possible option for low to medium volume applications, but GTK will now combine a custom design with one of a number of colour options, ensuring that your product stands out from a plethora of dull, uninteresting designs. The company offers LCDs and modules in all major technologies - TN, HTN, STN, FSTN - using advanced manufacturing techniques including COB (Chip on Board), COG (Chip on Glass), TAB (Tape Automated Bonding). An exciting choice is to use a range of different colours for the backlight which can be selected and mixed to give a range of coloured displays.
