A new range of high-spec TFT panels
is now available from Trident, following the signing of a new distribution
contract with AU Optronic of Taiwan. This will enable Trident to
supply a wide range of panels throughout Europe including UK, Nordic,
Italy and Benelux regions.
Martin Cobb, product manager at Trident commented, "By adding
AU Optronic to our portfolio we will be able to offer our customers
a wide choice of high quality panels with above average specifications.
Additionally, customers will find that the company's European support
division offers guarantees about product life, obsolescence notification
and price stability where possible."
Formed in 2001, AU Optronics has grown to be a leading supplier
of high performance TFTs. The range available from Trident includes
an 8.4in panel with three different brightness options, two of which
have 4-wire resistive touch-screen attached, and the option of an
integral driver card offering both LVDS and Analogue RGB inputs.
A 10.4in version offers range brightness levels from 180cd up to
1500cd sunlight readable. High specification 15in, 17iin, 19in and
20.1in 4:3 panels, and 26in, 32in, 37in and 46in widescreen TV panels
are also available.
