They use minimal power, conserving battery life; and emit less heat, enabling their design into expensive surfaces that could otherwise be damaged by conventional lighting. Offering an output of between 80 and 500 lumens, this LED lighting includes the Compact model reading light, and the Spot for general overhead lighting. They feature integral 'light engines', and may be supplied in low-voltage and line-voltage versions, both available in a range of colours and light patterns. The devices are designed for an operating temperature range of -40 to +40°C.
