Highly-versatile DIN rail enclosures

Camden Electronics' new range of snap-fit DIN rail enclosures is claimed to offer significant advantages over existing alternatives. It is fully UL94VO flame retardant, for example, and greatly simplifies the vertical or horizontal mounting of PCBs, even those with components such as relays and transformers. Innovative, physical features reduce assembly costs.

Seven, 90mm-wide versions are available, at between 17.5 and 160mm in length, each having a polarisation feature to ensure correct mounting. An adaptor for G-rail mounting is also available. Though normally produced in grey, black, green, red or blue versions are available in volume, and moulded top panels may be screen printed or accommodate a label beneath. Other options include a higher-rated material and EMC-shielded boxes.
