New PCB Buccaneer

Bulgin's smallest waterproof connector, the 400 series Buccaneer, now includes a 4, 6 or 8 pole PCB-mount version. It is fully compatible with the existing 400 Series flex connectors, and has a 5A, 125V rating. PC spill length is 3.5mm for use in 1.6mm PCBs, and both pin and socket versions are available allowing safe power entry and exit. It is IP68 rated.

The panel cut-out for the connector is 19.2mm. Rear mounting in the panel allows it to be soldered directly to the circuit board, and then secured to the panel with a mounting nut. It has a body of UL90V-0 rated material, and a separate sealing cap is available to maintain its IP68 rating when the connector is not mated.

Typical applications include portable instrumentation, marine environments, CCTV systems and outdoor control modules.
