Rectangular connectors for space and other hi-rel applications A complete range of high-reliability rectangular connectors manufactured by C&K at its European Space Agency (ESA) approved production facility in Dole, France, is now available for non space-related applications. C&K is the only supplier of ESA-approved Micro D (MDM) and single in-line microminiature (MTB1) devices, together with ESA-approved D subminiature variants. These have been used in both standard and custom designed versions in Worldwide Space projects and programs, for several years. In addition to high reliability and performance, they have been the subject of stringent testing for outgassing and residual magnetism.

The devices are now available for non-space, hi-rel applications such as in military, aerospace and medical equipment. They embody all of the benefits and features stemming from ESA-approval, with the exception of the special testing required specifically for ESA applications, and are suitable for board to board, board to cable, and cable to cable functionality. Custom designs and cable harnessing services are also available.
