Now available from Harwin is a PC/104
compatible range of bus connectors for
embedded PC applications, designed for
stacking boards with a common bus. They
meet relevant industry standards, have a
maximum 3A current rating, and a press-fit
tail option that enables solder-free
attachment.
8- and 16-bit systems supported by bus connectors

Configured as 32 + 32 ways, the connectors
support 8-bit systems and, using a 20 + 20
way device, also 16-bit systems. Available
with traditional solder tails with a maximum
3A current rating, or with press-fit tail and a
rating of 2A maximum, they are produced in
both stack-through versions, which allow
many modules to be stacked without the
need for multiple connector types, and non
stack-through versions. They are suited to
a variety of applications in Consumer
Electronics, Test & Measurement, Industrial
Controls, Medical, Computing and
Automotive products.
