Unique keyboard has configurable XPress keys

The new VARIO-KEY Multimedia keyboard introduced by Cherry as part of their CyMotion series, has ten laterally positioned XPress keys that can be individually programmed and clearly labelled using the Label Designer software, enabling the user to create a unique set of key functions. They are in addition to the standard board configuration, and 19 further keys are designated for multimedia management or internet use.

Cherry Electrical Products has recently celebrated the production of the 25 millionth NTK New Technology Keyboard Ten keys are dedicated to user-defined unique functions

Using Linux-compatible KeyM@n software, included with delivery, the ten XPress keys can be quickly and simply configured with chosen commands, and then organised according to personal preferences. They can be set for text or a range of pictures and graphics from the files located on the computer. Xpress keys are also fitted with hinged button caps, to protect labels from dirt and friction wear.

The VARIO-KEY is provided with an adapter for use with computer or notebook, and is suitable for PS/2 interfaces; when not in use, it stands upright to save desk space.
