Electronics' upgraded range of single pole, 16A RF power relays
now meets VDE approval at 120°C. They combine excellent power
handling and temperature characteristics with compact size and the
convenience of FASTON terminals.
Rated at 16A with 250Vac loads, these relays feature a maximum switching
capacity of 4000VA, and an operate/release time of 10mS. Their operational
temperature range is -40 to +120°C, and mechanical life is 30
million cycles. Both normally-open or normallyclosed, single-pole
contact versions are available, and FASTON terminals, included for
the load side, are configured for either vertical or horizontal
fixing.
Other salient features include a coil power of 400mW, and reinforced
insulation in accordance with EN 61810, 60335 and 60730. A WG version
is fabricated using materials in accordance with the new IEC 60335-1
clause 30 requirements, especially important for the applications
in domestic appliances, such as oven controls, microwaves and heating,
as well as power supplies, at which the relay is targetted.
