Electronics is an affordable, easy to use, ruggedised hand-held
thermal transfer printer with labels and heat shrink tubing developed,
for tough industrial applications.
Introduced as the T107M, this heavy duty printer embodies a unique
'Hot Key' functionality, providing the power of wire and cable wrapping,
patch panel module marking, fixed length serialization, and vertical
printing. Its thermal transfer printer is capable of printing commonly
used electrical and datacomm symbols, in addition to Code 39 and
Code 128 bar codes, while an extra-large 30-character back-lit display
and over-sized keys provide an unambiguous user interface.
With its bright orange casing the T107M is easily distinguishable,
and it incorporates a rubber bumper for extra protection. It is
also available in kit form, including a hard carrying case, six
AA batteries, AC power adaptor, one 19mm white flexible Nylon tape,
and one 12mm white permanent polyester tape. The print media is
supplied in easy-to-install cassettes including ribbon, polyolefin
heat shrink tube, nylon cloth, polypropylene non-adhesive insert,
permanent acrylic adhesive vinyl film in numerous colours, and polyester
film also with permanent acrylic adhesive.
The T107M hand held printer compliments other thermal transfer printers
supplied by Tyco Electronics, and represents
an ideal solution to on-site, on-demand identification and labelling.
