Though priced at less than £100, Kalestead's
YC717D single-channel temperature data logger exceeds expectations.
It accepts as many as seven thermocouple types (E, J, K, N, R, S
and T), offering user-selectable measurement ranges between -100
and +1700°C, and provides a Microsoft-compatible RS232 interface
for on-screen data analysis. Other features include a data memory
Quick Read function, and a protective holster which is fitted as
standard.
An advanced, four-channel version, YC747D, which features the simultaneous
data capture from four thermocouples, is also available. Details
