Ultra low power, compact
Op Amp is a first

With the release of the MP8102, Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) has introduced its first operational amplifier to complement its wide offering in DC to DC converters, LED and CCFL drivers, and Class D audio amplifiers.

The MP8102 is an ultra low power op-amp which delivers a -3dB bandwidth of 600kHz, while consuming an incredibly low 7.5m A of supply current. This 1.8V to 5.5V true single-supply amplifier features a rail-to-rail output that can sink and source 20mA of load current, and has an input common
mode range that includes ground. In addition, the MP8102 has a very low input offset voltage of less than 1mV, and a tiny 2pA of input bias current.

Packaged in a minute SOT23-5, this low power op-amp is ideal for use in compact portable devices such as PDAs, mobile phones and cordless handsets, GPS receivers, and a wide range of consumer electronics. Samples are available immediately.
