Miniature Point-Of-Load regulator

Specialist defence & aerospace industry supplier Roband Electronics has developed a new, miniature POL (point-of-load) regulator for main power units and integrated circuits in a wide variety of military and avionics applications.

With an output of 0.8 to 3.3V at 5A, and a 5V input, Roband's POL regulator is available with a variety of different pin-out configurations. It offers overload protection, and is 90% efficient over its military operational temperature range of -55 to +125°C.

Designed to provide optimum vibration support, the POL has a machined aluminium enclosure and is encapsulated for maximum environmental protection. It measures just 20 x 25 x 8mm, and weighs only 12g.
