Housed in the industry standard 2.30 x 1.45in. quarter brick footprint and pinout, the nine members of the IQ12xxxQTAxx device family offer single output voltages over a range from 1.8V to 48V, and are capable of supplying up to 40A or 100W of usable power. They are available as openframe units for convection-cooling; with baseplates for conduction-cooling; or, for the first time, fully encapsulated for use in harsh environments. In configurations ranging from 1.8V@40A to 48V@2A, efficiencies of up to 91% are achieved, and the typical MTBF is in excess of 2MHrs. The modules have at least a basic-grade isolation rating between input and output of 2250Vdc, reinforced-grade in the cse of encapsulated versions , and all are fully 6/6 RoHS compliant. Control and protection features include remote sense, a wide output voltage trim range of -20% to +10%, input undervoltage lockout, output OVP, current limit, short circuit protection, and thermal shutdown. Operating temperature range is -40 to +100°C.
