The first member in their fully 6/6, RoHS compliant,
sixteenth brick DC/DC converter
family, has been announced by SynQor.
dc/dc converter offers more power in less space
|
The PQ60033SGL20 module has a full 36-
75V Telco input range, and provides an
isolated 3.3V output with up to 66W of
useable power. Using the DOSA standard
pinout, and with a footprint of only 1.17in2,
the module occupies 43% less board space than eighth brick converters. And with a low
profile of 0.332in, it is ideally suited to
applications with low board-to-board
spacing constraints.
Employing a synchronous rectification
topology, the GL20 provides the best
thermal performance in its class, with a
virtually flat derating curve. Its full rated
current of 20A at 70°C, represents over 3A
more available current than other presently
available sixteenth bricks, and up to 4A
more than similarly rated eighth bricks.
The PQ60033SGL20 is capable of
withstanding input transients at 100V for
100ms, and has a basic isolation level of
2000Vdc, from input to output. Standard
control features include ±10% trim, remote
sense, and remote on/off, while the
converter provides input under-voltage
lockout (UVLO), output over-voltage (OVP),
over-current (OCP), over-temperature
(OTP), and short circuit protection. Its
operational temperature range is -40 to
+100°C.
