Available as a single-board package in Open
Frame (HEA13) and Base Plate (HEB13)
versions, the PQ60280 converter uses
synchronous rectification and SynQor's
patented topology to achieve low power
dissipation, high reliability, and up to 3% improved efficiency over similarly rated
devices, reducing dissipated power by up to
40%. With an input voltage range of 35 to
75V, and operating at an exceptional full
load efficiency of 94.5%, the open frame
device can supply up to 270W at 55°C
ambient with just 200LFM (1m/s) of forced
air-cooling. For more thermally demanding
applications, the base-plated option allows
cold wall mounting or attachment of a
heatsink to increase the available power to
the full 360W rating.
The converter’s trim range of -50% to +10% adds further flexibility, allowing the user to adjust to the desired output voltage for improved linearity within Power Amplifiers, and the device has a basic isolation level from input to output of 2250Vdc.
