New premium sockets save time and costs The range of Schrack panel relays and sockets held by has been expanded to include a new series of premium din-rail sockets for PT, XT and RT series relays.

Stranded wires, with or without bootlace crimps, can also be used. Moreover, the sockets include independently sprung double clamps per terminal, offering easy interconnection wiring even with different wire diameters and versions. Jumper bars are available to provide quick interconnection of all clamps, on either the contact or coil side. Included is a version for XT and RT series relays - 1 pole 8A or 2 pole 16A, 5mm pinning (RT7872P); and also for PT series relays - 2 pole 12A (PT7872P) and 4 pole 6A (PT7874P). The fully featured premium sockets are suitable for existing socket accessories from Tyco Electronics' Schrack brand, such as PTM modules, retaining clips and marking tags. Packed in 10pc environmental friendly cardboard tubes, the new devices are optimized to meet logistical demands of sales channels and customers.
