Versatile MC/MD compact chokes from DICEP EMC

New specialist electromechanical distributor Live Electronics is releasing Common Mode (MC) and Differential Mode (MD) chokes from French manufacturer DICEP EMC, which are cost effective, compact, and suitable for AC and DC applications up to line voltage and frequency.

Offered in a standard open frame construction, with the option of encapsulated units, they feature nominal current ratings from 0.5A to 8.0A, operating temperature range -25ºC to +100ºC, 250Vac rated voltage, and DC line frequency to 440 Hz. Having a PCB footprint of 25.4 x 10.26mm, they are available in low MOQs for cost-effectiveness, and are designed for use typically in power supplies, in particular in railway signaling and communications equipment. Both the MC and MD devices are suited to applications in which electrical circuit noise must be reduced to a minimum.
